But if you know you're a great mom and you know everyone loves you, sm

why would such a great person like you need a card to redeem herself?

But do you think THEY'RE great?!?!?!?
LOL
I think they're great.
I am not aware of any pay issues. No problems for me anyway. The only issue I've heard of is with the line counter having a technical glitch. It hasn't happened to me, but apparently if you check your lines during peak hours it hasn't counted all your lines until later. But they are communicating with us about it and having it worked on.
And yes, I'm a real employee, not management or paid actor, LOL.
If you never worked there, then how do you know they're great?
???
i think they're a great company!
x
If you're happy there great, but it is
the worst company I've ever worked for.
they're pretty great
They are very consistent overall. Oh, now and then you get a nitpicky change made to something. (you can see all your reports after QA'd) But every communication i've had with QA has been very positive. I've even had an appreciative response after bring a QA error to their attention. Yes, you will be informed if you are being kept. You can even ask for a little reassurance during the probation period, ie, 'how am I doing?' When you're off of QA, QA doesn't have much of any contact with you. Your liasion keeps you updated with an e/m or two a day. That's about it.
They're great; lots in the archives
Yeah, you get bonuses based on your lines per hour rate, for all lines, not just the extra ones. The past few months I've been able to add 2 cents to my line rate based on the bonuses. Insurance is about $50 out of my paycheck for just me.
Lots of stuff in archives; go to the page numbers at the bottom, hit Ctrl-F for find and type in WebMedX.
The only possible negative I can think of is ESLs and slightly more difficult work, but if you passed their test, you should be fine. You're mostly on the same accounts, so you get used to them.
Winnie you're a great trainer
You're at Medware right? A lot of former OSI'ers have gone to Medware.
Annabanana - you're a great person!
I have no word for it! It is just ridiculous what some will post here! Ugghhh.... The funny part is that I agree that someone should know how to spell their company name and give real facts! There are times when I see posts stating they can't find a job, but there are spelling errors all through the post. It kind of makes you wonder............
I think they're great. Hired on a few months ago.
No problem so far!
Of those, I've only worked for MDI-MD, and they're GREAT...
Good luck on your decision. Sounds like you have some great opportunities from which to choose. Go with your instincts and I'm sure you'll do fine.
QA loves MTs like this one
Not so much the ones who don't read the account specifics or look up sample reports.
I have worked for them for about six months. They're great! Work is always there and sm
pay is always on time. They're very nice to work with, too.
I'll answer questions about PDA. They're great. sm
The ladies are great. I had a really good account and I'd never leave if it weren't due to tax issues in my state that really suck. If you're a good MT and keep the hours/lines you promise them, you''ll be fine.
you "think they're great." Would you dismiss an employee with that 1st sent?

Anyone out there that loves Spheris? sm
Just offered a job, haven't talked about pay or schedule yet. Let me know what you think!
Nah, she just loves VR, as do I, quite honestly
I think it just depends on the individual and the account to which one is assigned.
I do about 2.5 times as much editing as I do straight transcription (and I'm NOT slow at transcription, I'm quite fast). Therefore, I make a bit more editing than I do with straight transcription.
I'd like to point out, however, that I'm on an overall excellent account with very good dictators. The only time I encounter the 'it would be quicker to just retype it' is if the dictator has a bad/staticky/muffled connection and the VR can't recognize exactly what is being dictated.
I can see where it's not for everyone but I always thought it would be interesting to be a book editor; perhaps my love of VR stems from that early-in-life career goal, lol!
For someone who loves VR, sounds
great to me!
Well, anyone who loves their job needs to tell us where she is so happy at..Would love to know..
If anyone absolutely LOVES their company ... sm
I would love to hear about it! I have 15 years experience, 14 of that acute care, need employee status with benefits. I'm with the BIG transcription company now that is steadily taking away everything good about being an at-home transcriptionist :( Have been there 12 years.
Any suggestions? It's sure confusing going through all of these different companies, trying to figure out pros and cons.
Thanks, I would love to hear from anyone who works for a great company!
if anyone absolutely loves their company
I used to work for MQ but quit over 2 years ago. I now work for EMTSonline and absolutely love it. Work is plentiful. They are all very supportive. I absolutely love my work again.
misery loves company
and I'm on the verge of tears. Yes, I have e/m'd (multiple liaisons and Ms. C., requested more accounts, which were not given to me, and DID get answers to e/m but seemingly to pacify, not to remedy.
Must not have the same accts as fatcat, as mine were NOT full last night.
Guess my weight loss efforts will get help via the job, as I won't have money for much groceries and will be too depressed to eat anyway.
Misery sure loves company.
So now you are wishing your bad luck on me! Well that's the way to be; you all are no different than me. Furthermore, no one likes to hear the truth. The truth is that MDI looked out for their business, which is what you would have done as well. Everyone need look out for themselves.
I'm just telling it like it is and the reality of it all. If or when it does happen to me and yes it has happened to me, I pick up and move on. I would never sit around and wait for work to come to me.
Do y'all have no sense at all?
P/S: Companies start at 9. You have to look for them though. Transcend pays 9 to start, so what's your beef?
Read that post below on hospitals? They're definitely good for great bennies! nm

As a recruiter, I'd hire an Andrews grad in a New York minute. You're doing a great job of se
They are properly trained. They are ready and able to work from day #1.
Wouldn't YOU like to have training that made you a hot commodity the minute you graduate? Maybe you should go back to school so you can be an arrogant MT and not be penalized because you aren't cutting it.
As a famous model once said Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.
Good luck in your future endeavors.
My 10 y/o loves pickle relish and mayo sandwiches

Webmedx fits that bill, great company, great benefits, great pay and always on time. NM

System great, pay good, everything great, but most managers from old Edix, problems, poor people ski
when you are out of work, you are out of luck. If you are good at brown-nosing, are tough enough to be without any self-esteem, and have maybe money coming into the household on the side in case you tick someone off, then you may succeed, for a little while.
Don't ever ask questions or have problems with anything. Don't ever have a problem. Don't think you will have any control over anything you do, either.
A few 'good' managers remained when I left, but the new ones were all from the old Edix, and were completely into numbers, cared nothing for individual MTs...if there is work, you BETTER be working. If there no work, you will hear nothing, no one will help you.
You are pathetic! I have a great life, loving family, work for a great company.
You might want to fix that.
You really don't have to shout (angry person), but yes you are wrong!!
That is my last word to you!
I will add that getting a great pay check every other Friday from Medware really puts a huge smile on my face.
Oracle is great. Bayscribe is wonderful great line counts.
The trainer at OTI will always answer any questions about the platform and if you have any problems they have already worked them out, so just ask. Good luck!
YOG - Lots of work, great office staff, great money. NM

AXOLOTL - A GREAT COMPANY WITH GREAT INSURANCE
Axolotl has AWESOME, AFFORDABLE insurance. Family plan medical and dental costs a little over $300.00 MONTHLY. They also pay for family plan vision in its entirety. STD, LTD, 401K with match and flex spending account, great PTO and HOLIDAY pay. OH and paid downtime in the case you run out of work, which doesn't happen often!!!
So you guys feel you're getting paid what you're worth with VR?
I'm not trying to be snarky. I've never done VR, so I'm trying to understand.
You're happy with your paycheck with VR? Do you find the files to be as bad as the original post implied?
So you're telling me, basically, they're bad news?
They offered me 0.095/line and you know - it sounded too good to be true, but I SWEAR the recruiter told me they do not outsource. Oh brother... I just wish they'd be honest. I really don't know what to do.
Not the OP, but they're supposed to take out all the other taxes as you're an employee with th
s
No, they're not losing money....they're gaining!
If a company charges their clients by the line, I'm sure that line rate does not go down even though the MTs pay does.
ASR pays about 2/3 normal line rate to its MTs. Their ultimate goal is to have the MTs do twice as much work. Therefore, the client is getting their work faster, but paying their normal rate, while corporate gets that money and the MTs get the lower line rate.
Whether the newbies want to realize it or not, MTSOs have not increased MTs' salaries in the past 10 years. They still start out at the same pay as the last century!
This used to be a very lucrative profession. Nowadays, most MTs are considered to be paid at the poverty level. You don't believe me, look it up!
Great pay, great benefits for 11+ years..sm
I've just started with this great company (eMTS). I have 11+ years of experience and I was started at .10 per line as a regular employee, not IC, with a huge sign-on bonus, full benefits, very nice people, and a good account. So far, this is the best experience I've had in my years as a transcriptionist. Unfortunately, I don't believe they're hiring more right now, but you could always check in with them, they're online at eMTS.com. The management seems to really care and they work with you.
Great company, great boss....
I use to work there. The dictators on my account were really good. They use Emdat/Inscribe. Pay on 1st and 15th by direct deposit.
That''s great and I've heard they pay great as well.
I just have heard a lot of adjectives for a few accounts - zinger, killer, impossible, etc., and I sure know I couldn't hack it there. But I'm sure they know what they are getting into when they sign up.
Hey, you're in luck then. They're hiring! (nm)
