Broaden Your Scope

I have been a Rad MT for 3+ years now and make good money. However, I would never pay that kind of money to learn it. If you are going to pay, learn something more general. Most places are looking for someone with Acute Care experience, then specialize on your own. There are a lot fewer choices for Rad MTs vs. other.
However, as to a dying Dept., LOL, that is just a bunch of crap. and NO it is not done mostly inhouse. I have worked for 3 different online MT services and all of them have multiple different a/c for Rad work. Many places are preferring to switch to outsourcing to MT services.

The agreement is too broad in scope. It does not give you a
mile range limit on where you can work, therefore it is most likely unenforceable. Some states like Arizona have limited these contracts with regard to the medical profession, i.e., a case with a physician with a noncompete clause. They said the area was too broad and the MD could not make a living, therefore was too restrictive. Check out information in what state you are, but from what I see, it would be hard to enforce this contract.
Broaden your thought process. Leave to whereever,
perogative as to where. Who am I, or you, to even try to guess where someone else might be happy but they certainly DO NOT have to stay somewhere they feel they are being used as guinea porcines.
That is not what I meant at all! Meant broaden to
Broaden to think leave to other profession if that is what is wanted, dont limit yourself to thinking only can leave to another MTSO. Geeesh.
