for some of us that have over 10 years experience it is a slap in the face. If it works for you, that is great. Everyone has different needs. I personally don't want someone to stick themselves in the middle of me and the national company only to make a buck. I don't need the middleman. If you don't mind, there is nothing wrong with it for you and you shouldn't worry about it.  I work for one of the national companies and I personally wouldn't work for a subcontractor unless I really wanted to be an IC, but at this time I need to be an employee with better rates and benefits. The whole industry is suffering, but these subcontractors are making it worse. The end! Move on!
