I guess there are different degrees of severity with stuttering, as there are with most things.
I certainly am aware when I do it, I'm sure it's noticeable, and it's terribly frustrating and embarrassing. It doesn't mean (I hope) that I've lost the little intelligence I might have, just that I maybe have a little problem with my wiring. LOL.
I'm sure your friend is a very competent physician. In a field where malpractice lawsuits are filed on a relatively routine basis (with or without merit), I doubt he would still be a physician if he didn't have a high degree of competence and intelligence.
I also don't think people should be so quick to negatively judge a person with this type of disability (or make fun of a person) because someday, they might find themselves with the same ailment. As I found out, it can happen in a split second.

It really is a nice website, the art is fantastic! I am going to keep them on my desktop for future reference. I have never run across them, but they sure seem really down-home. Of course judging a book by its cover, but it really looks like a nice place.

I worked for MQ for a very long time, almost 15 years, and made the switch in January. What a great change it has been for me and it is nice to see offices being built for expansion rather than closing like the one in Tinley Park did with MRC/MQ. I should have made the move 2 years ago, but am glad I finally did it this year.
