I have 30+ year transcription experience, both hospital and home based. Transcend bought out the company I worked for and I managed to gut it out for 11+ years. They start out treating you decent because you know the account, you know the customer, then once they start getting accustomed to the work flow they start taking things away from you, believe me it'll be slow and steady. The real money pit was when they forced T2K National down our throats, I went from making 11 cents a line to waaaay less than that, working seven days a week to maintain my full time status because work dropped when they put so many Transcend MT's on the account I was working and had been working on for years. The only support we got from them was being told to go and get on more accounts, you've read that already on some of these posts from the Transcend suits. Who wants to go through learning multiple new accounts with the down time involved, more money lost?? These people have been away from the production keyboard too long!! The final straw that broke the camel's back was being told that we would have to do QA for their Voicescribe accounts at pittance per line in addition to transcribing our accounts. My advice, get out while you can!!
