Can anyone tell me if the Bayscribe platform is slower than DocQscribe, and if so, a lot slower? If you have not worked on DocQScribe before, then could you tell me if you feel it is as fast as other platforms you have used? Thank you!

Bayscribe slower than DocQscribe
Bayscribe is slower than DocQscribe. One thing is you have to chose which report type you want to transcribe next after each report and then wait for the screen to reload whereas in DQS it is already filled in and no waiting. Their doctor roster is not as user friendly as DQS. You do get credit for filling in demographics which amounts to about 1 line per report.
ExText versus BayScribe
I have used both, and I like both. I was faster on ExText but the account was much easier than my BayScribe account. One of the things I like about BayScribe is everything is on one screen (demographics, text, and copies). No toggling between screens.
Bayscribe versus DocuScribe. Which is better?
I've used both but wondering which people generally prefer. Me? I'd have to say DocuScribe is more user-friendly to me. Ideas?
MedRite XL versus Bayscribe
Has anybody used both platforms? I have two job offers and I have the impression that I will make more lines using Bayscribe. Also do either of these support Shorthand? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!
DocQscribe platform
Does anyone know of any companies that use the DocQScribe platform?
DocQscribe platform?
Is there a way to find a list of companies that use DocQScribe platforms?
They had a job ad for MTs...they use DocQScribe platform...
nm
?? DocQScribe is a platform....sm
Is that the name of the company?
DocQScribe is a much better editing platform than
Dictatphone EXSpeech, which Transtech uses. You will never make the lines you can make editing on DQS. I don't know if you do editing with the Q or not, but you cannot beat DQS, IMHO. EXSpeech has a lot to be desired. You will also not be able to make the lines you do on DQS, nor is it easy to keep up with your lines.
Also, I must say that we have to do a manual timesheet and email it. No automated timesheet. Don't know if that matters to you or not.
Also DocQscribe is the best platform I've ever used.

MDI versus MedScribe versus SoftScript versus Transsolutions versus TransHealth. SM
I'm getting ready to start applying and these are the companies that I'm looking at. So give me the low-down. Good, bad, India?
Here are my criteria:
9 cpl or better
Does NOT send work to India
Good accounts with at least 50/50 of ESL versus American dictators
Consistent work flow - no downtime or time spent waiting for work
Upper management should be professional, positive, and encouraging.
Pay for lines WITH spaces.
Is there such a job out there or am I just dreaming? If there are other companies other than the ones I listed that would fit the bill, please feel free to let me know. I tested with TransHealth and I felt like I tanked. It was a hard test and I had to use the mouse to stop and start the dictation as it was online test and you couldn't download the voice files. So that made it a lot more difficult. One of the dictators was cutting himself off through the report and I had to leave some blanks. I'm very frustrated with this whole process of looking and testing. Are all the tests like that? Or are there companies that allow you download the test files and transcribe them using your pedal and software? Ugh! I am just so frustrated and discouraged.
Thanks for any helpf.
DocQScribe wasn't a good platform for me, so I left. nm

ExSpeech is not a very good platform to edit on such as DocQscribe. n/m

Precyse has their own proprietary platform, modeled after DocQScribe. nm

BayScribe platform
Anybody currently using BayScribe as a platform or even hear of it? Thinking of taking a position and the company uses BayScribe, thought I would ask in advance. Thanks to all. Missy.
Bayscribe platform
Can anyone give me information on the transcription platform Bayscribe, as well as Medical Dictation Services, Inc. in Maryland? TIA
Bayscribe Platform
Looking for any feedback on Bayscribe platform as used by MDI-MD. The good, the bad. Any feedback would be helpful. Thank you.
What companies use Bayscribe platform? Thanks! nm

the bayscribe platform is supposed to be compatible,
so you could go with companies that use that.
Anyone currently working on a laptop with Bayscribe platform
Anyone working on the Bayscribe platform (MDI-MD).
What operating system? Vista or XP.
What kind of laptop? I have a USB footpedal, dialup currently, but thinking about the wireless connection or air card for my laptop, and want to get a laptop that will work smoothly with this platform.
Looking for a used or refurbished one. Any ideas on where to get a used one?
thanks.
Bayscribe platform is compatible with Vista.
You just need to find a company that uses Bayscribe. There may be other platforms but I don't know of any.
I just started working on the BayScribe platform.... sm
I was thrilled when the Infinity USB foot pedal I've had for a couple of years, worked just fine. This particular model has worked for several web-based platforms I've transcribed on. Maybe I got lucky?
I also just started with Landmark and right now could not be happier! I'm so sorry things didn't work out for you and I do understand that many variables play a huge part in the type of experience one MT may have from another. Good luck to you!
Trying to find company(ies) using the BayScribe transcription platform?
RISS is not a platform. RIS stands for Radiology Information System. The platform sm
would be EXText.
DocQScribe
I'm not speaking from experience, but based my acceptance to a RAD account on the condition I would have the platform. Was told most accounts "except 1" are not on that there.
DocQscribe
TRS uses DocQscribe.
DocQscribe
I need to do 145 lph with NO spaces. It is difficult at times.
DocQscribe
Just a hint, go to another company!
They use DocQScribe.
I love DQS but unfortunately not all companies have it. There are other easy ones too but to me DQS is the easiest.
DocQScribe
Accuscribe out of Goose Creek, South Carolina uses DocQScribe. Tbey hire IC MT's and are wonderful to work for.
DocQscribe
I worked on this platform a few years back for a company that has now gone under. The line counts are very very off. I believe there must be a way to make adjustments because my line count gradually dwindled down to nothing. Then I started not getting paid. Between those two things I cut out of there. Have heard the same from others about this platform. Any other opinions out there?
DocQscribe
I have worked on this platform and did not have to fill in anything but a date...guess it depends on the company.
I love DocQscribe...very easy platform.
All I know is that they use DocQScribe. nm
b
It's LIKE DocQScribe but not the same sm
I have worked for both. I was struck at how similar Precyse's platform looked like DQS, but frankly it is not as good. The spellcheck is awful. Looking up docs in the ADT screen is clunky as well, as are the account specs.
not DocQScribe
I doubt it is DocQScribe slowing you down. It's probably the pressure of the clock.
DocQScribe
Van Belkum, Echo, Precyse, Administrative Assistants, possibly ExecuScribe.
DocQScribe also
Accuscribe in SC
DocQscribe - nm

Definitely DocQscribe - nm
No DSG does not use ASR at least not yet. Yes they use DocQScribe. nm

I don't know about DocQScribe...
in particular, but I can tell you that I have used two other types of software in on the same computer as Bayscribe in the past w/o problems. As long as one was closed while using the other I never had a conflict.
DocQScribe
I was recently hired by DocQScribe but haven't started yet. Is this company a good company to work for?
Thanks for any advice
DocQScribe
I have a few specific questions about DocQScribe, but would also appreciate any additional info, good, bad, otherwise. (I have read past posts but found conflicting info and the posts were not that recent.)
1. Does the ShortHand Expander work on DocQScribe?
2. How easy is the platform to learn?
3. How easy is the platform to navigate around when you are in a report -- and are there a lot of steps to saving, sending, etc?
4. Can you look up prior patient reports?
5. Can you make your own templates?
6. How is the spellchecker?
7. Can a fast typist make good line counts?
8. Is the line count mechanism accurate?
Thanks in advance for this and any other info you can provide.
DocQscribe
I work for MQ and DocQScribe is one of the best things about MQ. I think it is very easy to use. I use ShortHand with it easily. You cannot really go back and look up out charts but that might be just with MQ. I have used a couple of other platforms and found it more user friendly than the other ones. I have found that most of the ADT information is automated, and I only have to read through it, which is par for the course with ADT information.
DocQScribe, SM
I have been using DocQScribe now for about four months and I love it. I think it is very fast, very efficient and very easy to learn. My ShortHand works fine with it, I can make my own templates, never have had any problems with it. And my line count increased right away when I started using it. I can look up past reports but you have to also have access to DocQRoute which some companies will allow and some will not. Just my experience.
Yes, we use DocQScribe... sm
Most of the accounts are on the DocQScribe platform, which is by far my favorite. However, they do have a few accounts on the TSP platform, but when they hire it is usually for the DocQScribe accounts. I personally find I get the best lines on DocQScribe from any platform I have ever used. Also, I like this company; I like my supervisor, I like my teammates, my pay is right and on-time and via direct deposit, and most of the time there is work. Of course there are off periods, i.e. around holidays when things are a little low, but you will find that at any company.
I cannot say whether or not All Type would be a good fit for you, as people are looking for different things from employers. I can say that some of the things I have seen posted on this board about All Type recently, i.e. one post I saw about them cutting pay drastically, are completely untrue. I have NEVER received a pay cut, and I honestly don't know where some people come up with this stuff. They DO offshore, but they only offshore work in the evening that will lose TAT overnight... it's a TAT issue, and ALL of that work is QA'd by an American QA. I know my supervisor personally works very hard to make sure she keeps enough work onshore to keep her MTs busy.
Anyway, I hope this information is helpful to you, but again, it is MY experience with the company, and everyone's experience is different. I would say it is definitely worth a shot though, especially in this economy when we need to make as much as we can make. :D
docQscribe
Dictation Services Group, Administrative Assistants out of Michigan both do
MQ uses DocQscribe

MDI-MD platform is fast, not full of problems like Transcend platform or MDI-FL
On Transcend platform you have to click, click, click all day and still get errors, change screens constantly - its a nightmare to work in.
Downloading DocQscribe
I had no problem doing this.
which companies use DocQscribe?
Ok...I'll admit it. I am one of the weird ones here who like DocQscribe. I actually get a pretty good line count with it. If this question has been asked before, sorry to re-ask. I did a search but only came up with a few companies that I already new used this platform. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks.
