Transcription Services of Illinois
Does anyone have any information on this company? I've been contacted by them and have had several email conversations with one person in particular. She seems pretty sure about wanting me to help out and said she would contact me today but so far I have not heard from her, even after sending an email to her regarding this this morning. Just wondering if I should persue this or not. Thanks in advance.

It is VR. Would greatly appreciate any info from anybody that is currently employed with them or has been in the recent past.
All of Focus is indian-based, except their corporate office in MA.
That is a smoke screen to make it look like a US based company. Imagine, indian MTs editing you an American MT with 10+ years of experience, and changing correct terminology to incorrect terminology. I could go on and on, but I won't.
All tech support is india-based, all QA is india-based, most mts are in india, except for the MTs here in USA working for them, all of their account managers are in India working the night shift (their time), day time (our time).

Help with ESL overflow. Does that mean that's all you're going to get? Does that mean you get the ESL nobody wants? No English speaking docs in Kentucky? All at 7 cpl. They should be ashamed.

My friend said she sounded very good and supposedly had direct deposit. Well, she had no deposit and the lady said she would wire the money and apparently did not do that either. I dont like liars.

I am looking for information on how to send a complaint to The Better Business Bureau in PA. Or maybe there is another route to take. Toth Transcription owes me money since July and will not even respond. They need to have something done to them!

Has anybody ever filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about a particularly company? I am totally frustrated with a transcription service who never pays their MTs on time. I ended up resigning and they still have not issued me my final check. Any suggestions?

Send her a demand for payment letter certified and send a copy to her clients. That would get my attention.

Davis Transcription is listed with the BBB, a member since 2002 in good standing. We all know this is a farce. This is where we can start, report to the BBB. They will even contact the company for you if you feel you have been wronged. Those she owes money to, please contact the BBB, you can file this online. I encourage each and everyone to do so.

Nothing new.. check old archives AND Better Business Bureau. They have an F rating.
I research any and all companies I have worked for with the BBB. If they have a horrible rating then they are not worth working for.
contact the attorney general in the state she is in and the better business bureau and
call the local newspaper and something like ABC on your side. Put the heavy duty pressure on her.

 Please steer clear of this one. the owner is rude, moody, and sends out emails YELLING (all caps) Threatening and if you try to contact other MTs who work on the same account with you, she gets hightly ticked off. I told her she was crazy and then was gone! Maybe she needed medication or something.

Can't get paid in the office if you don't work in the office.
JLG has MT's working at home, not in the office, not to mention working out of state. The mail is the only way to get paid since they have temporarily suspended direct deposit. The only ones getting paid on time are the ones that do work in the office, like the management and people answering the phone.
