Wondering if that VNC program is still being installed. I read something about it that was kind of upsetting and I do not want to apply without knowing one way or the other. TIA

Anyone here currently/recently work for Teletrak....sm
I had been in contact with them several months ago, did my research, they offered me a great IC position, great pay and flexible, very nice manager, but I had issues with their computer/tech set-ups, so went with another company. I am now losing my primary account and there is no back-up in sight, this would be in Feb., so I am looking over all my old contacts and offers. ANY newer information would be so very appreciated! Thanks!

Flexible schedule but you need to decide what your hours are and commit to them. Benefits granted at 32 hours. Plenty of work. Really good, patient and supportive people. Training with guaranteed pay. Smooth, easy and fast startup. Good, high-tech platform.
Well, I started recently
and I'm only getting 8.5 c. I'm FT, acute care and do the weekend. And I have 18 years experience with acute care. That totally sucks. I'm so depressed now. I wish I would have never read this whole thread.
Started recently
Lots of work. Very nice people to work for! Platform is easy to work on.
Just started recently as an IC (sm)
I recently took an IC position and needless to say am very, very impressed with the way they operate. The training was excellent, communication with them has been excellent. If an IC, you send your availability and it can change from week to week. Pay is comparable to other companies out there. They seem to be a very straightforward and honest company.
I recently started a new job and was getting (sm)
almost exclusively consults. I do enjoy them, OPs are my first love though. I just asked them if OPs could be included in my pooling and they did. I also get other work types. Only fair that we all share. I wouldn't appreciate you walking into this company and taking all the OPs off the top.
I know there are some people who don't like OPs or have had so little experience they aren't very quick at them. If that is the case and they want to skip them (with the companies permission) GREAT. More for the rest of us.
Bottom line is, you type what they need and when they need it or they may not need you anymore. Unless you had an agreement before hiring, this is only fair.
I just started with them recently
and can say, this pay information is less than what I was offered.
So far, I've been extremely pleased with them. They've bent over backwards with compensation and encouragement. MUCH nicer than any other company I've worked with and after 20+ years, I think I have a good point of reference. Try them, you might just be pleasantly surprised.
I just recently started with DSG
I have quite a few ESL dictators but assumed this was the norm.
Just recently started. What was the pay plan before?
nm
I started with them recently, no complaints SM
other than the week of training was only on the computer. I started production IMMEDIATELLY. I would have liked at least 3 days of guaranteed pay. It may be different for you being new though. Go for it.
For those who recently started at Cardioscribes...
How is it going so far? I see they have another ad up and was wondering what you all thought about your experience with them.
I started at Chronicle recently and
my experience so far has been very pleasant. There is an abundance of work and I have a QA person who has been so patient with me so far. This is also the person who trained me. I found the training to be very informative. About 2 hours into my first shift I was so confused and I IM'd QA. I was able to speak with her by telephone and she walked me through the problem I was having and she told me to contact her again if there was still a problem or any problem at all. I've never had this kind of QA availability in any other company I've worked for. I've receive feedback that was both informative and non-demeaning. From these posts there must be different accounts and different platforms. I guess I am lucky to be on the good account?
Anyone who recently started working for DSG that can say how they like
it there and how is the workload and accounts, sound, etc.
I recently started on VR with TransTech,
maybe 3 weeks ago. I feel like I am drowning. I have been an MT for over 20 years. I am pretty fast, and from what I have heard, it works out better for the slower typist. I would love to find another company, but I don't think it will make a difference. VR is here to stay, and being in my 50's, I figure I better adjust to it. That being said, does anybody here have any tips (seriously) to increase my speed. Arguing about VR isn't going to get any of us anywhere. I definitely do not agree with the 50% in pay for VR, that is ripping off MTs as far as I am concerned. Seriously though, does anybody have any tips that would help me increase my speed?
Has anyone started with Webmedx recently?
I interviewed and was told they wanted to hire me but there were no openings. Supposedly I will be called when one opens up. This was a few weeks ago. I am so frustrated with my current employer and desperately want out! So, has anyone recently interviewed and then started fairly quickly? Trying to decide whether there really is a waiting list and to be a bit more patient, or to start applying elsewhere. Thanks!
I just recently started a verbatim account...
and I have to stop myself from making corrections and have to really concentrate on typing exactly what they are saying. It's HARD! But hey, they are indirectly signing my paycheck, so I gotta do what they tell me to, ya know?
I think we all have had nightmare experiences. I recently started a job that was "starving" fo
more work than you can imagine and then 2 days into it, NOTHING.. plus the software was a pain in the beeeehind!!! This great opportunity turned out to be a waste of time. Hopefully things get better for you. I quit..making $4 an hour was not my idea of surviving.
A friend of mine very recently started working for them
I'll try to get ahold of her and see how it's going so far. She just started about a week or so ago.
If I hear anything, I'll let you know :-)
I was hired and started in 1 week. That is not a long set-up time. When I started with our local h
I needed to get a physical and go through orientation at the hospital which is only given two times per month. This is a 900-bed hospital, so it cannot be an unusual process. MQ took 2 weeks. KS took 1 week. SoftScript never got me started even after repeated calls and emails.
I have only been with KS for 9 months but would never put them in the same catagory as the others you mentioned. They are the best company I have worked for, and unfortunately, I have bounced around a little in the last 5 years.

I was wondering if it is employee status, pay rates for ER and radiology, work flow, good or bad company, etc. I've done a search and have only found similar questions with no answers.

teletrak
Yes, I know the link. Just wanting info on the company itself, i.e., pay on time, how they are to work for, what platform they use. Thanks for the link though. Any other info would be greatly appreciated!
teletrak
Hi all. I know teletrak does not have direct deposit. anyone know anything about them. Can you expect pay to be on time? ease of platform. Are you able to check your line count? Thanks so much! I could not find a whole lot on them here.
Teletrak
Teletrak is a good company. We get paid every 15th and last day of the month. Competitive pay on 65 character lines. Flexible schedules. Nice people.
Teletrak
Just hired, dont know much either. Programmers are extremely savvy, alot going on with installation, takes a while to get set up, so far, will see.
teletrak
I'm supposed to test with them next week, can you tell me what is in their contract that is so objectionable? really don't have time to waste?

Teletrak MT, Inc.

Ok, I checked out the ad on the job board, went to the website, do they require you to transcribe 13 TEST FILES????? I listened briefly to each and only ONE is horrible...but that is just too much. Anyone else think that 13 is too many??
Teletrak
The offshore big time.
Teletrak MT
I, for one, believe that we should do everything we can to keep our jobs in the good old USA so when I look for employment the first 2 things that I do are to see where the company is actually located and to ask them if they offshore. With that being said, I saw the ad for Teletrak MT, how the ad clearly states no offshore please and I thought that this might be a company to look into. However, I went to their website, went to the link contact us and wayyyyyy down at the bottom of the page I see this ...
Creative Director: Kavita Wadhwani |
Program Manager: V.Chethan Kumar |
Contents Manager: Rose Guerber |
Developed By: Starsoft, India
Of course I believe that these are who developed their website but does it not stand to reason that if they are using a website developer out of India then most likely they are from India? |
Teletrak does not use VR. nm

Anyone heard of Teletrak, Inc.
Would you mind sharing some insight!
Any info on Teletrak? nm

Teletrak just posted for IC
on the job board and I have not seen anything negative about them yet.
Teletrak? did anyone listen to the
tapes on their site? They have voice files right there to listen or download.
Teletrak testing
Am wading through their 9 dictations, that is their test. Has anyone had any experience with this company or their test? I saw the post about them using Office Word as their platform and that is what I am looking for. Just wondering. (Hope I did not post this twice.)
info on Teletrak?
does anyone have any info on teletrak they can share with me. i can't seem to find anything other than testing was kind of a pain. Info on how they are to work for, ease of platform, is pay on time? Thank you so much in advance.

I see the post below about Teletrak....
but does anyone know anything else about the company? Their website shows they have a base in CA and TX. Any information would be great! Thanks
My experience so far with Teletrak
I work for Teletrak. They do use Go To Meeting to install the software and for fixing technical problems. They send you a link to join the meeting and you grant them permission to get into your computer while they look for and fix the problem. You can see on your screen everything they do. You can see exactly what files they open, etc.
They use VPN to connect to their web site and transcribe. I like working for them so far. The pay has been right on time and the line counts are good.
You do need a fast computer with lots of RAM and also the highest-speed internet to be the most productive. You download the voice files and the templates one at a time from their site. Any questions I can help with, I will answer as best as I can with only a few weeks with them.
Any info on Teletrak? sm
I know pay and line requirements but was wondering about their platform. Any info, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated!! TIA
Anyone work for Teletrak out of CA
