they pay on time, direct, I have had the same supervisor and QA for 4 years now, they are helpful and nice, insurance not so great, large deductible, all other benefits are good, they have productive and weekend incentives. They do expect you to meet your quota and keep a close on that. Help desk is there 24 hours.

Any recent info on MedTrans Unlimited? newest archived info is 9 months old... m
Has anything changed in 9 months? Particular worries are the invoice/pay time; one post mentioned 2 to 3 week wait and another post stated 1 week. Info from the company states pay is sent out 10 days after the last day of the billing period, but we all know what is said and what is done isn't always the same. Another concern is the platform; some mentioned it was slow and cumbersome. They have 2 platforms from what I can gather.. Are they both slow? It seemed like certain specialties were done on certain platforms, or at least that is what I got out of the archives. I really hate to jump from the frying pan to the fire so any info would be VERY much appreciated.. the good, bad, and the ugly! TIA!!

It's EASY to search recent posts (sm)
using Google site search.
Ex: chase site:mtstars.com revealed all the posts written about this transcriptoin company, most recent first.
Just from recent posts there are still ongoing pay issues.
They have easy escription accounts but I can't tolerate being paid late/wrong. Good luck!

it seems to me that if it's the MTs who have been there for a couple of years or more that are are liking it fine there and sing the praises, and that it is the new hires or recently hired people who don't like it and don't seem to get work or at least get bounced around. Just an observation from what I've read. HTH.

the bottom click on the blue related posts to bring up most recent ones. They pay 8 cpl, dictators are horrendous, they have very frequent turnover.

Sadly, its one of the oldest tricks in this business.
Always has happened to me, whatever mode of delivery for the work. In the days of tapes, I would get double or triple what I requested. Now its the same thing, thus why I don't take any jobs on the side now. I would always, always ask for a minimum amount of work, which the owner gladly agreed to, only to be bombed. Then the whole guilt game would start...Not for me anymore! Its so counterproductive in the long run - makes us resentful, right? Why not just give the MTs what they agreed to, right? Oh well!

The archives have nothing very recent and nothing very nice to say about this company. Have things improved there over the last year? I notice their line count requirements are lower than most companies. Does this indicate an inability to provide MTs with enough work or good sound files? ANY recent information would be appreciated. I am a little confused. I get ONE day's notice that we won't get a full check until the 23rd of the month due to payroll changes. Then we get an email about open enrollment for Anthem. One of the reasons I took the job was because the Cigna was so affordable. What is going on with this company? I think they could have told us we couldn't be getting a check for nearly a full month WAY in advance so at least we could have been ready.

Does anyone have any experience with Keystrokes? I am getting kind of fed up with my company that I have been with for a year, and I just got an e-mail Keystrokes saying that my resume meets their requirements and sent me a questionnaire to fill out. I was wondering how the pay is, how the accounts are, the managers, and how easy their platform is to learn. Any info, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated!
