Beware and have something to fall back on. Seems like things are changing. VR seems to be about to take over soon while the actual MT work will be going to their India office.
Of course, Indians own this company. There is any any work and when there IS work, it is us asking not to use Expanders because the system is TRAINING the voice for CERTAIN dictatorS, mostly the very good dictators, and when there is actual transcription work, the dictators are the MOST AWFUL THINGS i Have ever heard.

MDI florida, pretty good benefits,
transcription super, Debbie, very easy to work with, down-to-earth. Pay 10 cpl if you have Meditech experience for acute care/radiology. Saw in one post where they were willing to train. Worth looking into. I work for them, good company so far.
MedScribe in Florida is a good company
MedScribe in Florida is a great place to work, you will find many posts in the archives. There are several other places that call themselves MedScribe but they are not out of Florida. The one in Florida has been around since 1992, I have worked there for 3 years and they pay on time with direct deposit every other week and the insurance is affordable and a good plan.
Strictly IC, good company, hard accounts, good platform.
Good pay, always on time, no direct deposit though.
Is Transcend a good company with a good platform to work on. They are advertising.

Are you referring to the Medict that is out of Florida and run by Gail Hutton? I worked there briefly as a Transcriptionist about a year and a half ago. It was not a bad experience overall. The only real problem I had was their platform and having to have an extra phone line because I was receiving the voice viles via a linear machine. Gail is a very nice lady. Plus, the accounts I had, the dictators were awesome!
