Well, had an interview scheduled today with Amphion at 9:00 a.m. - they called and set it up - I'm still waiting for the phone call and it's 9:47 a.m. TransHealth called, now I called back and they're all in meetings. This is very frustrating. I think I will accept Oracle for the time being, since they are IC and TransHealth and Amphion are FTE, and keep waiting. Someone has to be a good match. I thought TransHealth or Amphion would be great choices, but now - set up an interview and not call? I didn't call them, they called me, but now after scheduling the interview - no one called? TransHealth sounds great - now if I can just connect with the guy who called me. If not ... who's next?
all OSI info is old in archives. Anything recent good/bad?
mostly -- are the lines an absolute bear to get; i.e., will I have to work 12 hours a day to get 1000 lines? Or do they seem fairly fair won?

Answer to any or all of the 9 following questions would be much appreciated:
1. What platform do they use? User Friendly?
2. Benefits. Which health insurance carrier? PPO? HMO?
3. What is the deductible amount (employee coverage, no family).
4. Accounts: High ESL? Enough work? Back up accounts?
5. QA: Too much? Too little? Constructive or too critical?
6. Email communication timely?
7. Is hiring process drawn out?
8. Equipment arrive in timely fashion?
9. Pay on time?
Any recent info on TransPortal? I have searched archives
And I haven't really found much. Any recent experience, good or bad, would be great. Thanks!

and there are pages and pages of recent info, within the last few months. I know I had a bad experience, no work, along with many others, though that situation was rather snowed over by the company. I didn't have time to wait around, that's for sure. I know how hard it is to find the right fit. I'm going thru similar with the line counts - I have an extremely difficult account, and cannot make enough to cover my needs. I'm hanging in there as well, but its so frightening in this economy to try and break away from one thing and get caught in something worse. I, too, used to type easily 300 lph, and now am at about 100 lph, and that is cranking it as well. Like you said, something just doesn't add up right. When you've done this long enough, you get a feel for what you should be doing, right? I either look at my lines every hour, and gasp from shock, or I wait for hours, then look, and nearly faint from shock, and not good shock. Sort of makes me think the unimaginable - going back -- to that place -- but I haven't reached that point yet, but am close. I just don't have the financial backing since leaving MQ to play around much longer. Sorry to turn this into me, rather than you, but I'm going thru the same thing. It seems some do great at MDI, and others do not. Its like a crap shoot, literally, if you pardon my French. It seems that way with most of the companies - you luck out and get a good account and good supe, or you get the opposite. Sort of sounds like MQ, doesn't it??? Scary.

when there is no lag time on I-chart, usually early morning, typed normal template, and it did count. I also asked and we do get paid for everything except headers and footers.

Recent posts in the archives too. Open your post and then near
the bottom click on the blue related posts to bring up most recent ones. They pay 8 cpl, dictators are horrendous, they have very frequent turnover.

Any recent info on MedTrans Unlimited? newest archived info is 9 months old... m
Has anything changed in 9 months? Particular worries are the invoice/pay time; one post mentioned 2 to 3 week wait and another post stated 1 week. Info from the company states pay is sent out 10 days after the last day of the billing period, but we all know what is said and what is done isn't always the same. Another concern is the platform; some mentioned it was slow and cumbersome. They have 2 platforms from what I can gather.. Are they both slow? It seemed like certain specialties were done on certain platforms, or at least that is what I got out of the archives. I really hate to jump from the frying pan to the fire so any info would be VERY much appreciated.. the good, bad, and the ugly! TIA!!

The archives have nothing very recent and nothing very nice to say about this company. Have things improved there over the last year? I notice their line count requirements are lower than most companies. Does this indicate an inability to provide MTs with enough work or good sound files? ANY recent information would be appreciated. Does anyone have any experience with Keystrokes? I am getting kind of fed up with my company that I have been with for a year, and I just got an e-mail Keystrokes saying that my resume meets their requirements and sent me a questionnaire to fill out. I was wondering how the pay is, how the accounts are, the managers, and how easy their platform is to learn. Any info, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated!

Any recent info on TransTech?
I've been looking in the archives, but I can't seem to come up with much (specific) recent info, so I wonder if any current Transtech MTs might be willing to give me a little info.
Are they a good company to work for? Nice people? What type of platform they use? Is it easy or hard to make your lines? What is their approximate pay range (not specifically, just generally). Do they have a decent (do-able) incentive program? Are they strict with your schedule or are they willing to be a little flexible? Is their benefit package really as good as it sounds?
Sorry for so many questions, but I'm trying to decide between another company and TransTech, so any information that you could give me to help me in my decision, positive or negative, would be most appreciated! You can email me privately if you don't want to post.
Recent info is there too. You can click on
related messages in your original post and pull up most recent info and then can do an archives search too. If you click on the archive posts there are multiple posts within the original post usually.
Of course you want the most current info, but for companies like Transtech or Keystrokes someone asks about these companies several times a week so there is a ton of current information on them.
