Has anyone heard of Advanced Medical Trnscription out of NJ?  I would love to hear from present or past employees.

First line of the ad: 

RADIOLOGY Transcriptionist NEEDED FOR 5 TO 9 OR 10 EVERY WEEKDAYS EVENING

It's one thing to play grammar/punctuation/spelling police for casual posters, but this is posted by the COMPANY, and so it's fair game.  I would not apply just based on the ad content alone. 

I was on their website filling out the employment application and I noted they required MT to take a hearing test by a physician.  I have been an MT for 30 years and taken tests before, but I have never had to have a hearing test.  Does or have any MT currently with this company had to have that hearing test?  I was just curious before I actually sent in an application?  The one Advanced Company i was looking at was out of Kentucky.  I am not sure of how many other companies with this name also there were.    Thanks

Anyone know anything about this place.  Saw an old post to stay away.  Anything current?

Took the test and heard from them within 1 hour wanting to hire me.  Lady hard to hear, lots of background noise, very weird test, undecipherable phone number.  Wondering if I should even bother with all these red flags.

Anyone hear of this company?  Anyone have any experience with them?  Thanks. 

I checked the archives and didn't find much except 1 post below asking the same thing.  Does anyone currently work for PRN or recently worked for them?

I was offered a job months and months ago and for some reason regret not taking it.  Just wondering if anyone works for them and their opinion of the company.  TIA!

I'm looking for QA information on this company--what is it like, do you know anyone who works for them, etc.? Bascially any information would be helpful.

I worked for them very briefly as a secondary.  They are nice people to work for and easy to get along with.  They seemed fair.  They just needed me to provide a schedule of sorts to them as to when I could help out, and I just couldn't give that to them at that point in time.

One of the platforms I used was Iscriptor which was cumbersome but doable.  I think they also use an IM to communicate and e-mail as well.  They paid on time direct deposit.

Nice people!  They also try to set you up with your specialty, which is a very nice touch. 

With Iscriptor, you basically take so many jobs at a time, send them back, and then take more.  It was pool work for me, but things may have changed.

I would highly recommend Advanced. 

Can anyone give me any information on Advanced Transcripion in Portland, OR? 

I have worked for this company for awhile.  It is true that the pay runs about 25 days behind, but once you get over that hump for the first pay period they pay consistently.  You can have your check direct deposited.  Pay is always on time.

I love working for Advanced!
