I was wondering if they take satellite internet. Unfortunately, this was my other option besides dial-up. I would rather know if they accept this or not before applying. That way, I waste no one's time.
It definitely is worth a shot and, yes, we do need to make as much as we can. I am only available part-time since I already work for a local hospital doing transcription. Lately, there have been a lot of unexplained changes, including bringing in outside transcriptionists from other ambulatory sites, which was never talked about before. There has been mention of outsourcing, but we are trying to show that we deserve to do the work, basically that we are worth it. There are just too many what ifs to just depend on this job.
