I have no word for it! It is just ridiculous what some will post here! Ugghhh.... The funny part is that I agree that someone should know how to spell their company name and give real facts! There are times when I see posts stating they can't find a job, but there are spelling errors all through the post. It kind of makes you wonder............

Great person? How can you know that if you are
new to the company? I agree, she appears nice and eager to get you signed on but she has no idea what is going on within the structure and prefers to pass the buck than solve a problem on her own. She has no real power. MDI is very disorganized, Meditech is not MT-friendly, very cumbersome. Good luck to you.
I think you'd be great to know in person!
I like your posts! I agree with you!
Great ! Your just the person I was looking for - sm
I have a job offer with them, but it is substantially less money than what I make as an IC. So, this is a tough decision for me. Maybe you can share your experience, if you don't mind. Is there an adequate amount of work? I realize that with holidays, workflow does slow down, but I mean in general? Also, do you know anything about the social security. I thought they said they pay the employees portion? Maybe I am wrong, but I thought that is what she said!
Uh, actually, no I'm not the person you're
referring to. Is there an equally psychotic term for someone who is secure in the knowledge that they've got everyone figured out but are actually dead WRONG? Because from this side of the monitor, you're looking pretty foolish right now.
Annabanana, do I know you? Just askin' cause....
I am actually in the process of transitioning over from acute care to clinic notes as we speak!
I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. It's not easy these days, that's for danged sure!
Seems like there's a lot of work in acute care, but you just gotta bounce around from hospital to hospital to get it and it really wrecks your zone and line counts doing that. I was gettin' by, but then the hospitals upgraded their platform or operating system or whatever the heck it's called and now it's even more of a time waster. Very frustrating because I've worked hard to build my shortcuts specifically for those places. I look at my paychecks from years past and want to cry...my line counts are almost half of what they were 2-3 years ago.
I can't blame the company for this though...seems to be an issue on the client's end. I think I'll like the slower pace of the clinic notes....i hope i hope i hope. ;-)
I must agree Annabanana...
You sound somewhat tifted regarding Axolotl. Funny how your the only one to catch such an insignificant mispell and make such a big fuss over it. Holding some grudge maybe?
Have to agree with the initial poster. It is the best company to work for!!!! Are you going to bash me now??
Seems like Annabanana has the answers!!
For someone who is so happy, you're sure a mean person.
But hey, that's how it works here, isn't it? Socially retarded person who can't discuss anything without resorting to personal attacks.
The QA at Keystrokes is great too, at least the person I deal with. sm
She is sympathetic about the truly awful guys and usually has some little funny thing to say that makes me smile. I never feel talked down to or like someone is beating me over the head, changing the rules as they go, as I have with some companies.
you're scolding to the wrong person
/
You're not missing out on anything believe me. This person who represents
themselves as management as said she fired me because I did such crappy work, ....... I was NOT fired, I quit. I dealt only with the CEO of the company. This person doesn't know who I am and obviously has more than a few screws loose. When I turned in my notice the CEO offered me a management position and I could name my price. Now that doesn't sound like someone who does crappy work to me. I have since been offered a position 2 times since I left.
I would not recommend SS to my worst enemy.
You're right -- ignorance means a person didn't know, and I didnt. Sorry. nm
But do you think THEY'RE great?!?!?!?
LOL
I think they're great.
I am not aware of any pay issues. No problems for me anyway. The only issue I've heard of is with the line counter having a technical glitch. It hasn't happened to me, but apparently if you check your lines during peak hours it hasn't counted all your lines until later. But they are communicating with us about it and having it worked on.
And yes, I'm a real employee, not management or paid actor, LOL.
If you never worked there, then how do you know they're great?
???
i think they're a great company!
x
If you're happy there great, but it is
the worst company I've ever worked for.
they're pretty great
They are very consistent overall. Oh, now and then you get a nitpicky change made to something. (you can see all your reports after QA'd) But every communication i've had with QA has been very positive. I've even had an appreciative response after bring a QA error to their attention. Yes, you will be informed if you are being kept. You can even ask for a little reassurance during the probation period, ie, 'how am I doing?' When you're off of QA, QA doesn't have much of any contact with you. Your liasion keeps you updated with an e/m or two a day. That's about it.
But if you know you're a great mom and you know everyone loves you, sm
why would such a great person like you need a card to redeem herself?
They're great; lots in the archives
Yeah, you get bonuses based on your lines per hour rate, for all lines, not just the extra ones. The past few months I've been able to add 2 cents to my line rate based on the bonuses. Insurance is about $50 out of my paycheck for just me.
Lots of stuff in archives; go to the page numbers at the bottom, hit Ctrl-F for find and type in WebMedX.
The only possible negative I can think of is ESLs and slightly more difficult work, but if you passed their test, you should be fine. You're mostly on the same accounts, so you get used to them.
Winnie you're a great trainer
You're at Medware right? A lot of former OSI'ers have gone to Medware.
I think they're great. Hired on a few months ago.
No problem so far!
Of those, I've only worked for MDI-MD, and they're GREAT...
Good luck on your decision. Sounds like you have some great opportunities from which to choose. Go with your instincts and I'm sure you'll do fine.
I have worked for them for about six months. They're great! Work is always there and sm
pay is always on time. They're very nice to work with, too.
I'll answer questions about PDA. They're great. sm
The ladies are great. I had a really good account and I'd never leave if it weren't due to tax issues in my state that really suck. If you're a good MT and keep the hours/lines you promise them, you''ll be fine.
you "think they're great." Would you dismiss an employee with that 1st sent?

Read that post below on hospitals? They're definitely good for great bennies! nm

As a recruiter, I'd hire an Andrews grad in a New York minute. You're doing a great job of se
They are properly trained. They are ready and able to work from day #1.
Wouldn't YOU like to have training that made you a hot commodity the minute you graduate? Maybe you should go back to school so you can be an arrogant MT and not be penalized because you aren't cutting it.
As a famous model once said Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.
Good luck in your future endeavors.
Webmedx fits that bill, great company, great benefits, great pay and always on time. NM

I think it is one person. I had a few print outs from a few weeks ago and this person even capital
I have had a positive one. I have been with Keystrokes for 3 months and am very happy.
I printed them to show my manager but she told me that there are few bitter people out there and no one can do anything about them. My manager said that everyone can tell that it is the same few over and over again, for Keystrokes and a few other companies as well. Time to move on Ms. Anon. I cannot think why a company would go through the trouble of getting IDs and getting you installed just to ignore you after that. Doesn't make sense, does it? Are you sure that't the whole truth? You keep saying truth but it sounds fishy.
Exactly what I'm talking about RUDE! You are a very unhappy person. A happy person does not
respond in such a way! This is the reason SS has such a bad name.
I am not a hateful person but that person screamed at me for 45 minutes. sm
She said all transcriptionists are idiots.
Great company, great boss, great account!!!nm

System great, pay good, everything great, but most managers from old Edix, problems, poor people ski
when you are out of work, you are out of luck. If you are good at brown-nosing, are tough enough to be without any self-esteem, and have maybe money coming into the household on the side in case you tick someone off, then you may succeed, for a little while.
Don't ever ask questions or have problems with anything. Don't ever have a problem. Don't think you will have any control over anything you do, either.
A few 'good' managers remained when I left, but the new ones were all from the old Edix, and were completely into numbers, cared nothing for individual MTs...if there is work, you BETTER be working. If there no work, you will hear nothing, no one will help you.
You are pathetic! I have a great life, loving family, work for a great company.
You might want to fix that.
You really don't have to shout (angry person), but yes you are wrong!!
That is my last word to you!
I will add that getting a great pay check every other Friday from Medware really puts a huge smile on my face.
Oracle is great. Bayscribe is wonderful great line counts.
The trainer at OTI will always answer any questions about the platform and if you have any problems they have already worked them out, so just ask. Good luck!
YOG - Lots of work, great office staff, great money. NM

Loved Alltype! Great management and great accounts.
wah - i miss it there!
Hope you're enjoying those slave wages you're earning.

It's a great company -- lots of work and great pay. sm

AXOLOTL - A GREAT COMPANY WITH GREAT INSURANCE
Axolotl has AWESOME, AFFORDABLE insurance. Family plan medical and dental costs a little over $300.00 MONTHLY. They also pay for family plan vision in its entirety. STD, LTD, 401K with match and flex spending account, great PTO and HOLIDAY pay. OH and paid downtime in the case you run out of work, which doesn't happen often!!!
So you guys feel you're getting paid what you're worth with VR?
I'm not trying to be snarky. I've never done VR, so I'm trying to understand.
You're happy with your paycheck with VR? Do you find the files to be as bad as the original post implied?
So you're telling me, basically, they're bad news?
They offered me 0.095/line and you know - it sounded too good to be true, but I SWEAR the recruiter told me they do not outsource. Oh brother... I just wish they'd be honest. I really don't know what to do.
Not the OP, but they're supposed to take out all the other taxes as you're an employee with th
s
No, they're not losing money....they're gaining!
If a company charges their clients by the line, I'm sure that line rate does not go down even though the MTs pay does.
ASR pays about 2/3 normal line rate to its MTs. Their ultimate goal is to have the MTs do twice as much work. Therefore, the client is getting their work faster, but paying their normal rate, while corporate gets that money and the MTs get the lower line rate.
Whether the newbies want to realize it or not, MTSOs have not increased MTs' salaries in the past 10 years. They still start out at the same pay as the last century!
This used to be a very lucrative profession. Nowadays, most MTs are considered to be paid at the poverty level. You don't believe me, look it up!
Great pay, great benefits for 11+ years..sm
I've just started with this great company (eMTS). I have 11+ years of experience and I was started at .10 per line as a regular employee, not IC, with a huge sign-on bonus, full benefits, very nice people, and a good account. So far, this is the best experience I've had in my years as a transcriptionist. Unfortunately, I don't believe they're hiring more right now, but you could always check in with them, they're online at eMTS.com. The management seems to really care and they work with you.
Great company, great boss....
I use to work there. The dictators on my account were really good. They use Emdat/Inscribe. Pay on 1st and 15th by direct deposit.
That''s great and I've heard they pay great as well.
I just have heard a lot of adjectives for a few accounts - zinger, killer, impossible, etc., and I sure know I couldn't hack it there. But I'm sure they know what they are getting into when they sign up.
Hey, you're in luck then. They're hiring! (nm)

If they're in Nebraska, they're www.medigrafix.com nm

If you're an IC, you pay all your taxes. Otherwise you're an SE or employee. nm
