You have to work your minimum line requirements the day before, the DAY OF, and the day after the holiday (1000 lines for full time). So, if you are scheduled to work on Christmas and you sit there for 8 hours but there isn't enough work to get in your 1000 lines, you won't get paid for holiday pay for any of it. If work is low the day before or after (as it frequently is) and you don't get in your 1000 lines, you don't get your holiday pay. If you are on 100% QA for any period in the 6 months preceding, you don't get the holiday pay. The holiday also has to be a regularly scheduled day for you, so if they call you in because they need help (because who will want to bother working on holidays now?), just say now because you're not going to get paid extra for it.
