If 10 people vote to have post removed it is removed
automatically. Look near the bottom of this post and click on the blue vote/moderate and go from there. I've already voted, so need 9 more. This person does need to be banned though and as they represent themselves as being SS management, then SS should also be banned.
repost of above
reposted this as the quotes didn't come out, so it didn't make sense.
You said, With all the times I've had residents, PAs, or NPs dictate sentences, erase them, start again, erase them, and then end up saying go back to where I said [fill in the blank] and put [such and such] instead, I can't see a machine being able to correctly interpret all that. The idea is for the physician to work with the document being created in front of them. Then they can fix all this stuff as they go along. Just highlight the old stuff they want out and replace it with the new stuff they really wanted. Also you said, I can't see the computers picking up medication errors, dosage errors, incorrect dates, new operative equipment, being able to correctly flag right/left, or correct spelling of cc'd physicians' names. It's possible many of these programs have a safety feature running with it that would do a pop screen for amoxicillin 5000 mg tid to question it. Physician names are probably in a pop up screen too, like a word expander. Just type the first few letters and up it comes. Of course, it's not going to correct everything but when the COX-2 inhibitors were taken off the market do you think a human could go through all 5,785 charts to find the people who had been prescribed Celebrex to call them to tell them to stop taking it? Of course not. It's not a matter of IF MT's will be replaced, it's already happening.
Ad suspended for now, but look for repost
For anyone looking at this, I wanted to update and say that ProType, Inc. had such an overwhelming response to ad that they have suspended ad for now to assess what they received and will probably repost ad in a couple of weeks. So, look for it then, as they may be taking more resumes in a few weeks.
Very little PTO and it is to be used for everything, including
sick days, vacation days, holidays -- really stinks !
I get 8.5 cpl including spaces, but
They pay 0.05 for weekends and another 0.05 for over 16,000 lines per pay period. If you keep your 11,000 lines per pay period you get almost 4 hours of PTO per pay period, which is about 10 days a year. No holiday pay, but usually offer a bonus if you work one. $40.00 internet reimbursement a month. The insurance costs me just under 100.00 a pay period for myself only, no family, but I think that depends on where you live.
Can't think of anything else, but they are good to work for...kind and honest.
I get 8.5 cpl including spaces, plus
for over 16,000 per pay period, which is relatively easy to get. I've got a great account though. I know some places may pay more, but we get what we are promised, on time, plus PTO and insurance if you need it, not free of course, but pretty resonable. An IC can make more per line, but end up losing becuase of the additional SS taxes and absolutely no benefits. I love TT and thank God every day for my job.
No it is everything including interventional
mammos, CTs, MRIs, PETs, etc. The docs are very good and the system is very easy -IDX. Guess I should just stay where I'm at.
9 cpl including spaces
..
I don't believe you get benefits including PTO unless
you maintain 5500 transcribed lines per week or 11,000 edited lines per week, or an average of the two. At least that is what my paperwork says.
But if they are saying per character are they including spaces?
I'd ask if a space = a character. ;)
I couldn't find anyone, including TT, who would allow only ops.
nm
Do you happen to know if it would be any different including a spouse?

No one here, including the OP whined about working..sm
a weekend! You assume way too much! Of course there are times we are going to all have to work weekends. The point of this whole conversation (since you obviously missed it) is how crappy it is for MTSOs to offer only one of two schedules...give up every Saturday for the rest of your life or a Sunday. Some people do like to go away for the weekend, to their child's Saturday soccer game, or to church! Rotational weekends are awesome and I do them myself! I won't however give up every single Sat. or Sun. until I leave this company. It's not happening!
Many of the ones in the "management" positions, including
ROMs, team leads, and the rest, have never been in management and do not know how to handle having power. It goes to their heads, so they are on an ego trip, they love to manipulate and care less about who they hurt on their way up. They only care about their bonuses and big pay checks. They take care of their friends and everyone else be damned.
Some good people used to work for MQ including

Transcribing = 9 cpl 65 characters including spaces.
Good company, great people. Give them a try.
I have worked for 4 companies, including MQ now which have lowered pay.
it is the way things are now. This career is going to the dogs.
PT 20 hours week including 1 weekend day ....nm

WELL SAID - OSi people are quitting in droves including management

Starbucks offers a lot of bennies, including health,
for part-timers.
Is 8 cpl/65 char including spaces good pay for Radiology?
TIA
About 5 years ago was offered 10 cpl including spaces, 65 characters. sm
Don't know about now. That was doing all acute care, mainly op reports with full benefit package.
I declined and have my own accounts, but it was a good offer.
Good luck.
Hmmm.must have missed that. I saw it on ALL accounts but for QA including the platforms that run out
of work constantly.
completing thought.....including on the Job Edit screen. nm

Close to 9 cents not including multiple incentives
.
I do work all hours, including my days off, and 3rd shift
to try to make up hours, but I'm short most weeks. There are lots of accounts with low work, yet they keep hiring more.
I don't need the benefits, but I was told that if there is no work it will not affect benefits. I am new too and not eligible for benefits until next month anyway, so I can't say if that is true or not.
TO PEOPLE WHO E MAILED ME FOR MY COMPANY (INCLUDING THE SOLICITOR)
I am sorry I can not state my company. They are very small, only about 150 MTs, and they are not hiring right now. I did see them post twice when I was looking, though. Watch for the small U.S. Only job posts here on MT Stars.
To the solicitor from Infraware Platforms, I am in the MT business, not the IT business. I very nearly did give out the name of my company, and now I am glad I did not!

Why where they removed? nm
Their ad has been removed.

The CLK job has been removed as we do not allow
job posts advertising pay of less than .05 cpl. Even for a new MT, anything less than .05 cpl is entirely too low even as a learning wage. We welcomed the company to repost offering .05 cpl as a learning wage of pay.

I removed the job ad. SM
I don't believe it is legitimate for several reasons including the fact it mentions benefits for ICs (ICs do not receive insurance benefits or any benefits) and they ask for money up front for background checks. You should not have to pay to interview or work for any company advertising here.

This issue IS... Do you want your QA that determines your errors, including punctuation, Indians.???
I have no problem maintaining quality and agree that 98% and above is acceptable and definitely quality what we all strive for, I just am offended that someone I cannot even understand and they cannot understand me, being the ones doing the quality checks on my work. That is my issue with it. You have not been there long enough. I was there a few months before they started bothering me. The problem was that I would tell them No, I cannot do the stat right now as I am logging off and they would still keep asking me. What part of NO in the English language is that hard to understand. Good luck with that.
Yes, that's including headings. I use Open Office which gives me a char count.
What it doesn't include is anything in the ADT screen, just what we type in the report.
It brings up 10 pages of info on TTS including the most recent stuff

Looks like administrator removed the ad

That's because most of the posts were removed

Since the post was removed,

I think those posts were removed
and the MQ board has a post from Goldbird stating that there is no proof of such.
If it is true, it wouldn't be the first time. Secondly, it wouldn't be much of a surprise since it's been all over the business news that Philips (the majority stockholder) announced it wants to sell.
As a current employee of MQ, I certainly don't think things can get much worse at MQ, so maybe a new owner would be a good thing. Fortunately, I have a backup plan and can just sit back and watch this one play out.
No. Message has been removed. nm
Names were removed. (sm)
We try to edit if at all possible.

No, it's not. A thread was removed.
As is alluded to here; however, the context is missing. That is why the person is asking for a private e-mail.
