A better question ........

I think a better question might be what rate are MTs willing to accept to do the work.   I'd figure out the line count that you are consistently able to do and then figure out how much $$ you need based on that line count.  Ask the company.  If they're not willing to go that high - and I'd be willing to be they won't be - you'll have your answer.

I think at a bare minimum VR should be 6 or 7 cpl.   I'm pretty sure that's a pipe dream, but if enough MTs refuse to do it for less than that, the companies will figure it out.
