I did some work for them in the beginning of the year. It was okay, but I found something better. If I remember the pay wasn't that great, but sent it pretty much on time. The first check took a little longer to get. They said they would try to give me more work, but never did, so I found something else.

I am a new MT about to take a job with A Stat Transcription.
They seem great (they're sending me a footpedal and spellchecker and giving me a good line rate) and going to work with me to get my career started.
I was just wondering if anyone out there works for them or knows about them who could share some information about the company to me.

The owner called and seemed very nice, but asked ME to call his assistant, which I thought odd.  I've done some searching on this board and googled them, but wanted to hear firsthand from anyone who works there. Maybe things have changed since those posts...it could happen!

SPI/CyMed has archive reports
At SPI/CyMed we use Chartnet, which is awesome, and we can also view old, archived reports on patients.
How strange! When I search the archive I come up with almost nothing and it's all from 04 and 05

My archive search turns up nothing.
I stated that I already know that they offshore. If you don't have any answers, why did you reply?
The archive searches here are confusing.
But when I put 'davis' in the second search box down (not the top one, with Google, etc.), just to the right of the ''Post a new message'' button, I got plenty of results.
The archive search rarely works for me either.
I'd try browsing through some of the archives and scanning for it.

I don't believe you are an MT - how can anyone not know what "stat" means? Don't you have a medical dictionary? If not, you can Google it. Show some initiative and self-reliance - if you really an MT, you'll never last unless you are more indpendent.

What is an MQ STAT employee? An MQ employee that only does STATs? I do STATs and also regular work throughout my day.
stat scheduling
Can anyone clear up the "general" schedule I need to follow as an MQ SE? I am so confused. I'm aware each office is different. My office asks for a set schedule, but is "very flexible." For those of you who are SEs, do you follow the exact schedule you give your acct mgr? If you agree to an 8-hour day, must you complete all 8 hours if your line count is already met? Can you log in to do extra work outside of your hours such as nights/weekends? I'm just curious to know how much time is actually monitored, being that this is a "general" schedule. It's very confusing and not really being made clear to me--please help!

If is the one in Port Orange stay away....they are unprofressional, I live here in PO and worked for them and they worked me to death and complained the whole time. I want to know if anyone can tell me some reputable good companies to work for, it seems all I hear is bad. Is there anything worthwhile out there?

i can tell you this -- we NEED you to do your job so we won't bother you unless we have to :) :) I'm sorry your previous experience wasn't pleasant ... but I can assure you, we do our best to make sure that won't be the case now.

Dolbey STAT is better than
ChartScript at my last job, fields filled in, no searching for demographic info, learned the platform in about an hour. Easiest by far IMHO.
