In Reply to: ? for transcend editors - just wondering
Editing takes less time than straight transcription and that is why editing pay is less per line. If you know how to transcribe, then you know how to edit.

Agree 100 percent with you
waaayyy too many dont want to bother. but think about it - why should they when a service will keep paying them, no matter how little, and QA has to keep correcting the reports. makes no sense to me at all. which is a BIG reason i got out of QA. easier and more profitable to just type the darn reports myself.
75 percent!!! This is shocking... how could you
This is like getting fired but without having the benefit of unemployment. If you are in no way at fault, and it were me, I'd call a lawyer...Good luck to you!
I agree 100 percent sm
I was doing VR for TTS and although I could do it.. of course... it was a money loser. The pay would have to be 6 or 7 cents to be worth it. Then I'll do it. No way no wayyyyy otherwise.
I understand that, we put in 40 percent quarterly and still had to pay
We dont end up paying for state or federal when we do it and I am an employee.. EVEN putting in 40% quarterly as an IC and taking out the deductions, we still owe.
I am saying - it doesnt work out well for *us*.

I also cannot find a decent job due to this issue. I do not mind doing a monthly rotation, but every week???
